Portfolio Website Update!

Hi,
I spent all weekend working on my portfolio website and have updated the design to be cleaner and less whimsy. I fixed my slideshow arrows and made the slideshow link to the featured articles.
I also eliminated the about me page in the main nav because I have a blurb about myself in the footer.

My Portfolio Website:
http://www.kelbeldesign.com

I still have place holder images in places and need to build out my gallery pages more but at least the website is functioning the way I want it to.

As far as print materials goes, my business cards will arrive today. I've ordered my give-aways and they will arrive on Wednesday. I decided to go with notepads.

On Thursday morning, I'll print my Resumé and 18"x24" Poster at Office Depot by the school. I've used them before and have never been dissapointed.

Here's an example of my give-away item:

Website Comps

Logo Designs

I'll keep working on the lower case "kelbel" script font and the swoosh. That seems to stand out really well and match my personality.

Keep "kelbel" as a single logo and then use a brand line beneath it like "digital designer".

Statement of Career Goals

I recently started working full time as a Creative Director for a local marketing company. I have always wanted to work in Graphic Design and love what I currently do. My job entails a lot of logo design, branding and photo manipulation. As our company continues to grow, there is a greater need for splash page designs, social media managment and web mainteance.

After graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta,
